SUMMARY:49th Annual Jaguar Invitational Concours d'Elegance
DESCRIPTION:VIEW EVENT PHOTOS \nONLINE REGISTRATION \nEntry Forms must be received by September 2nd for your car to be judged; otherwise\, it will be Display Only! \nCheck-In: 8:30 am to 10:30 am.\nCars must remain in the field until 4:00 pm. \nBEST IN SHOW are class winners that will be re-judged. Other Awards: PEOPLE’S CHOICE based on voting by the spectators and JUDGE’S CHOICE. \nAll entrants will receive an 8×10 color photograph of their car mounted in a black matte. \nEntry fee admits two people and includes admission to the general Vanderbilt Exhibit Areas. \nJaguar Concours d’Elegance: Championship\, Driven and Special Division will be judged using JCNA Concours rules. Awards will be given to the first three places in each class. \nTwo Best in Show awards:\nVintage: 1996 and older\nModern: 1997 and newer \nSanitaire Class: Will consist of all other British Marques and will be judged solely on appearance\, cleanliness and general condition in four areas: engine\, trunk\, interior and exterior [originality is not judged]. Entrants will be grouped in classes based on model years. Awards will be given to the top three places in each class. \nInvitational: For 2022\, as in past years\, the emphasis will be to include as many Jaguars and other British makes as possible. Other makes especially INTERNATIONAL may be offered an invitation to enter the show. These entries will be accepted based on available space and the significance of the vehicle. Entries will be judged with the Sanitaire Class described above. \nInformation about your car should be emailed to Mike Carroll\, Concours Chairman at macsl300@aol.com for review by the Concours Committee. \nDay of Show: All cars must meet the criteria for the Jaguar\, Sanitaire\, and Invitational Classes shown above and will be admitted as space permits but not before 10:30 am. Charge will be $50.00 cash or check. \nThe planning process has started for the Vanderbilt Invitational Concours d’Elegance to be held Sept 11th with a rain date of Sept 18th. An important part of the event is the Official Show Program as it provides essential information for both entrants and spectators. Along with advertisements for our sponsors\, it also includes the schedule of events plus a listing of previous Class and Best in Show winners. The program is given to all 125 entrants and is made available to the approximately 1\,500 spectators that will attend the show. \nSelling ad space is a very important source of income required to properly run the Concours. It would be very helpful if entrants and members could sell ad space for the program. Ad prices\, which are the same as in previous years\, are shown below. \nThe remainder of the necessary information is provided below. This can be printed and shared with potential advertisers. \nIn addition\, if you require samples of the 2021 Show Program\, please contact Mike Carroll at macsl300@aol.com and copies can be mailed to you. \nThank you very much for your help and support as we all work to create another successful show at the Vanderbilt.
