Fire Island Lighthouse: Intriguing History
Author Angela Reich will give a lecture at the Suffolk County Vanderbilt Museum on Thursday, April 30, at 7:00 pm – Storms, Shipwrecks, Lifesavers, and Lightkeepers: The History of the Fire Island Lighthouse. She will speak in the Reichert Planetarium.
Club member and noted author and historian Angela Reich will be giving a talk on the history of the Fire Island lighthouse. It will be presented in the Reichert Planetarium at the Vanderbilt Estate and Museum on April 30th starting at 7PM. This will be a very interesting and entertaining evening that will be held in the state of the art theater area of the planetarium. Tickets are required for admission.
