Drive & Dine
Our Nov. 3 Drive and Dine event includes a unique opportunity to visit a working winery during harvest season – and taste the end results.
We’ll be touring Premium Wine Group, a custom-crush and co-packing wine-making facility that services many of Long Island’s wineries, and Suhru and Leib Vineyards, an award-winning winery and vineyard.
The cost is $40 per person, and there is a limit of 20 people.
CEO and head winemaker, Russell Hearn, will conduct the tour. The winery operates seven days a week during harvest season. There will be people working, water on the ground, grates, drains, and hoses to step over. Safe flat shoes, sneakers, or boots must be worn.
Please note that there are no accommodations for anyone with mobility issues. The tour will begin at 10:30 AM and last about one hour.
From there we’ll head to at Suhru and Lieb Vineyards, which is about an 8-minute drive from Premium. The General Manager and Partner, Shelby Hearn Ulrich, will provide us with tasting flights and charcuterie boards.
Afterwards, if anyone is still hungry, there are several very nice bistros in the area.
